Why I Do What I Do
As a member of the NorthStar Services team, it is exciting to work in a Person-Centered environment and culture is exciting. The concept and principles of partnership, trust, respect, and accountability that NorthStar passionately embraces makes me proud to be a member. I enjoy working with people and helping others. With NorthStar I am elated to be able to do both. As Woodrow Wilson stated, “You are not here merely to make a living. You are here in order to enable the world to live more amply, with greater vision, with a finer spirit of hope and achievement. You are here to enrich the world, and you impoverish yourself if you forget the errand.” This quote epitomizes how I see my role at NorthStar and in life. Not only have I been given the opportunity to help others but in the process my life is enriched tenfold.
